Democracy Improved

Upcoming elections prompted Dutch daily De Volkskrant to ask 500 scientists for ideas to improve democracy. The best ideas were discussed in an editorial that featured illustrations I created. One shows an encircled portrait in red pencil emulating the voting procedure, others show people in dialogue, with the suggestion that they actually spoke completely different languages.
