Xmas Stamp

To give your season greetings an extra festive touch (and generate more mail traffic) the Dutch post each year issues special Xmas stamps. The 2017 edition ­featured personal memories of ten Dutch celebrities, ­illustrated by ten different artists. The story I drew was by Anita Witzier, an anchor woman for a public broadcasting company. To her, the bell represented peace.
