The seven year itch also applies to love-inspired murals: after seven years, the owner of Bar Jones, asked me to replace the navy battle with a new piece. It became this epic meeting of two large monsters, inspired by the Loch Ness Monster – a pun on the name of the street where Bar Jones is located – and the sudden insight that it must be yearning for love, after roaming the lake all alone for centuries.  

This café is a hidden gem, right in the centre of Amsterdam. A perfect place for a gathering with friends, or a first date ;)
